Custom Tumbler Accessory Development Process
We support custom projects from early product development through mold making and mass production. The fastest RFQs are the ones that clearly identify the mating tumbler or lid, the required function and the dimensions that matter.
1. Send Project Information
Provide a drawing, STEP file, sample, cup/lid dimensions or a clear sketch. Include estimated quantity, target material, color, hardness, logo, packaging and required compliance.
2. DFM & Manufacturing Review
We review manufacturability, molding method, likely tooling structure, parting line, undercuts, wall thickness, critical tolerances and possible assembly issues.
3. Quotation & Tooling Plan
The quotation can include mold/tooling cost, sample terms, estimated production pricing and relevant process notes. Tooling assumptions should be confirmed before development begins.
4. Prototype / First Samples
Samples are checked for dimensions, fit, appearance, color and function. Customer feedback is used to make necessary adjustments before mass production approval.
5. Production & Inspection
After sample approval, production follows the agreed material, process and inspection points. For multi-part projects, assembly and packaging can be included when feasible.
